-U10G-
We had an ok game #9. We started slow in the first
half where we were not passing the ball enough but
played much better in the second half. We lost the
game 1-3.
The players of the game were Elisabeth who played
great in the second half doing a few nice passes to
Jennifer and scoring a very nice goal where she lobbed
the ball over the goalie, Mathilde who did a good job
as a goalie, and Sophie who did a great job creating a
lot of opportunities for the rest of the team.
On the final game we had a good first half where there were a lot of nice actions and passes. Unfortunately, we did not have enough shots on goal and did not end-up scoring. In the second half, the players got tired since we had no substitutes and errors in defense allowed the other team to score. The final score was 0-1.
-U10B-
On game #9 the team played well, simple and they could have score 4 goals at least.
Unfortunately we did not win quite yet and lost 2-0. Four guys in particular were very good.
Nicolas, Sebastien Garbe, Boyd and Timothy were unbelievable. Timothy and Sebastien closed down the defense with Boyd as a goalie in the second half and we
should have score at least twice hadf Lucas and Sebastien been more lucky. Nicolas was everywhere and dished out numerous passes to the attack using his head, playing pass
and being very agressive in defense.
Game #10 was finally payback time! The team did a huge present to our Les Petits Bleus manager Jeff who was on an hospital bed during the game... They won 5-4 !!! We had lost to this team previously 3-0 and thus this makes it a very good win. We started the game ahead with 1-0 with a goal scored by Lucas. The other team came back and was leading 3-2 at the half (Lucas also scored our second goal). The second half started and we tied the game at 3-3. Our team pulled it together very well from the back and middle field which basically provided great passes to Lucas who was able to go score for 4-3. With 5 minutes to go, the other team scored again to tie it at four apiece... We then pulled it off with another great ball to Lucas who dribbled passed 2 defenders and scored the winning goal, its fifth of the day !
-U8 Ivory-
We lost 1-4 and the kids realized how much their maestro Tom is important
to them as he was really missed today! The score was 0-3 at halftime,
and then the kids played more seriously and got their only goal of the game at the very last minute.
The player of the game was Alyosha who not only ran the floor very well in the
first half but also stepped up as our backup goalie in the second half.
The players decided to celebrate the last game of the season with a strong performance: not the best game we have ever played (that would be the one we played two weeks ago) but definitely a serious yet fun game. We were up 2-0 by halftime thanks to Michel and Tom but also to a nice team effort recovering the ball and bringing it up the field and a good job in our goals courtesy of Adrian. The same scoring duo added one apiece in the second half and we conceded a goofy goal which made the final score 4-1. The team was shuffled up during the game in an attempt to make things more even, but the kids reacted very well to the various position changes and subs.
-U8 Azur-
Game #9 was a beautiful game, our first victory 4-3. Everybody played well, great passing,
great defense, wonderful goals and a most importantly a lot of fun!! The surprise came from
Alexandra and Antonin today, they tried so hard and they fought until the
end, never gave up. Amin, Nicolas J., Sam and Sami as always showed great
technique and team effort by playing collectively, 3 of the goals were
built on team work with 3 passes minimum before the gooooooaaaallll!! Elodie had a
great game as a keeper as well as a player. Finally, Nicolas LEROY played as
a KING!!
-U10G-
On game 7, The girls lost another game 4-1 to a team that
had already beaten us 4-1 before. The level of
play was lower than in previous games and the girls
did not play enough in passing. The players of the game were Keishi who did a good job
in defense and Emma who played heroically in the goal
even after getting injured.
The week before, the girls lost 1-5 against a very good team. The game was good and the girls played a good game. The player of the game was Helene who seems to be playing better every game. She scored the goal and did a great job in the middle.
-U8 Ivory-
The hard work at practice is starting to pay off as the team collected back-to-back 2-1 wins.
Most importantly, everybody is making progress and they play better as a team.
On game 7 the player of the game was Thomas who's improving week after week and showed some great energy that day. The girls also shined as they played together in defense, on a mission to not let any of these boys make it to Nicolas' goal!
Game 8 was some kind of "revelation" for two players. Cameron kept chasing after the ball all game long as if he wanted to eat it. He also started dribbling all around and scored the first goal on a big kick, which is usually not very Cameron-esque! The other breakthrough was with Michel who somehow decided to start passing the ball. This resulted in some stunning moves with Alyosha, Tom and Cameron on the offensive end, to the parents' greatest delight.
-U8 Azur-
On our 7th game we lost 2-7 to a team that had already destroyed our Ivory friends
a few weeks earlier. Everybody showed some courage and provided a great effort, with
a special metion to the game highlight, courtesy of Nicolas who scored a
lob shot off an opponent goalie kick... 12 meters away from the goal! The ball landed in the
topleft corner of the goal, and Jeff who was attending the game was speechless for once!
Sami added another delightful goal, dribbling two players and the goalie on his way to the
goal. Quite notably Antonin, despite early difficulties requiring some adjustments, did
a good job in our goal making some numerous saves.
We lost game 8 by the score of 2-5, but the coach was very satisfied with all his players, they all tried hard and played with a lot of enthusiasm. The opposite team had a couple of lucky goals and had 10 players. Our team had two beautiful goals once more, the first from Sami coming off a fantastic defense from Amin and Sam who made the pass to Nicolas J. who made a move on the left side of the middlefield taking with him 3 defenders then with a "quick look up front" saw Sami making the run and gave him a sweet ball that Sami sent in the nets. The second goal was scored by Nicolas J. after a great effort again in defense from Elodie, Nicolas L. and Mateen, great shot from far again that end up straight in the net: wow! Ziad was the keeper for the first half and did great with some beautiful saves (2-2 first half).
-U6-
On game 8, Timothee scored a goal and overall our team was very aggressive -in the good sense of the
term! Emma in particular was everywhere, running for her team. Timothee, Mel and Emma
displayed some great moves, making a smart use of the space on the field and passing
the ball around.

-U10G-
The team won 2-1 with 2 great goals by Elisabeth in the second half.
Everyone played a great game and put a great effort in acquiring the victory.
-U8 Ivory-
The team conceded another defeat 4-5 but they played well. Our key
defender Brandon made it to the game only 5 minutes into the second
period. We were down 2-5 at that time and
scored two goals, but we would have needed 3 more minutes to tie the game.
The players of the game are Alexander who filled in for Brandon and Tom who not only scored two goals but also makes his teammates play better by igniting nice collective moves and passing the ball around.
-U8 Azur-
Good game today in spite of the 3-4 loss. Sami and Amine both scored on beautiful lob shots
and Sami got a couple on a feed by Nicolas. Overall, the kids gave it all and
were very happy at the end of the game.
-U6-
The kids played very strong, and the score was 6-2.
Everyone contributed to the six goals. Timothee and Emma made nice passes.
Miles and Mel played aggressively on offense and defense.
Louis played very smart defense, staying 5 steps from the ball and watching and
waiting for the ball to come to him. In the 2nd half, we played 3 vs. 4, but the
other team could not catch up.
Please bring all payments (cash or check to Nick Groleau) along with the form: sorry, but we will not be able to process your order without the corresponding payment.
Small proceeds beyond the manufacturing cost of the items go towards Les Petits Bleus equipment purchases. Thank you for your support!
-U10G-
On game 3, the team had its first loss of the season 1-4 against a very good team. The opposing team apparently is
going to be playing in U12 next year. We played 6v6 instead of the usual 8v8 because there
were many missing players from both teams. The player of the game was Montana who did an excellent job in defense.
On game 4, the team suffered its second defeat 1-4 with the girls playing in positions other than their favorite ones for the second time. Eileen was the star of the game. She was fighting all along and she scored the only goal. Sophie also did an amazing job in the middle. It seemed like there were multiple Sophies on the field as she was everywhere!
-U10B-
This week we lost 0-3 but once again we did not score the 20 goals we should have scored.
At least 7 times Lucas went one-on-one with the goalie but could not score. Add to
that similar opportunities for Nicolas, Marc, Daniel, Peregrine, Alex and Thomas
and you know why we lost!
The player of the game was Boyd, making four difficult saves and getting better week after week as a goalie. Unfortunately the 3 goals were scored off mistakes from our defense. The team played well in pass as usual. It was tough for us to hold our position because the other team was playing very oddly. Despite being better we lost once again but we are going to come back soon, it is just matter of time!
-U8 Ivory-
The team is going through a tough period being 0-2-1 over the past three games, but the hard work should pay off very soon. Nicolas is getting
comfortable in the goals, providing our resident goalie Adrian with some deserved time on the field. The defense is also showing some great improvement
in their positioning and passing. Our attack has been quite sloppy lately but is always prone to showing some good passing combos that do not
always materialize into goals. We're working hard in the practices to turn these moves into concrete points!
Our three players of the game have been Nicolas, courageous for his first appearance as goal-tender, Julia, who did an amazing job at the sweeper position filling in for Brandon, and Cameron who did not cease to run and put pressure on the opponents today.
-U6-
On game 4 we played a team that was not very good and we won 3-0. The girls were on a very good day as Emilie started most of the offenses and Mel
scored two goals.
On game 5, the kids work very hard and tied 10-10. In the first game, Timothee was very dedicated on the offensive end as usual. Emma scored too. The other game was less balanced as we won 8-2. Miles and Mel were our champions. Annelies played very well on both ends of the field. Despite a very warm day, the kids all provided an incredible effort.
Also, les Petits Bleus go Web 2.0! You'll find some useful weather information on the front page provided by Yahoo! Weather and thanks to Google Maps you can visualize the location of the fields right on our website.
-U10G-
Another great performance from the girls with a 5-2 win despite the lack of substitutes!
-U10B-
We started very well and were up by one after only five minutes. The other team got very lucky
until our goalie Boyd started to play better and better. Lucas scored 4 goals
assisted by Nicolas, Daniel and Marc. Had we had 5 more minutes the score would have been different from the final 4-6.
The team showed great improvement compared to last week, with strong performances from Nicolas, Sebastien, Timothy and of course Lucas. Hopes are high, and if the team keeps going this way the first victory should come very soon. And no matter the final score, the team made its coaches very proud!
-U8 Ivory-
The Ivory players put up a good fight but fell against a very good opponent. The final score of 1-4 does not
reflect the game's reality as the score was stabilized at 1-1 and 1-2 for most of the game, the last two goals
coming in the very last minutes of the showdown when our team went "all in" to get the tying goal. A very
tough game too as Marine and Tom can testify; but they stood up and got back in the game every time they were
taken down by a very physical team led by an impressive player. It's worth noting that our team accepted to play 5 on 5 to allow the team to spare one substitute throughout the game: this turned out to be to our disadvantage, but this fair-play spirit is what our club is all about!
-U8 Azur-
Despite scoring at the first minute of the game, we lost to a team that had a
couple players who made the difference. Our 8 players did their best to win the game,
they played in pass keeping their
position and helping each other in defense.
Nicolas scored an amazing goal after taking two players with a great individual move on the left side and tricking the keeper with a perfect shot on the right corner! Ziad, who did a wonderful job as a keeper going and throwing himself to the ball, and the little Sam, stealing the ball from everybody's feet and take his time to look who's open, also deserve a round of applause.
-U6-
A loss against a team playing some really good soccer.
Our players were heroic though: Tanguy protected the goal, Timothee and Emilie put up some good
offensives moves while Miles and Mel showed some nice passing.
-U10G-
Even playing against a team with an average age at least one year older,
the girls showed great determination and put a great effort to obtain the first win of the season.
Emma was great as a goal keeper. The defense led by Melanie had a great game. The midfield helped on both ends of the field. In particular, Elisabeth was everywhere and scored one of the 2 goals. Sophie was great in front and she scored the other goal.
-U10B-
First match with lots of room for improvement as the team lost 5-1!
-U8 Ivory-
Great game rewarded by a 4-1 victory. In addition to a great contribution from
the team's "veterans", the new players showed some grit and contributed to some great moves, especially
Marine who surprised many boys with a strong defensive presence.
Kudos to our player of the game Adrian who showed some incredible moves in the goal, giving up only one goal... on a direct free kick!
-U6-
Despite the loss, the kids did a great job, they were very energetic and hustled after
the ball. Annelies, the youngest player on our team, fell a few times, but she always got up right
away. Tanguy played very strong and smart defense by staying behind and anticipating the ball.
Mel and Miles were aggressive on offense. Damien was scraped up from an earlier bike accident, but
still played strong. Unfortunately, the other team had a superstar player; he was tall, fast,
and kept scoring goals, and we couldn't stop him!
